To gain key insights into the actual and prospective behavior of consumers of wireless services, Centris has developed an ongoing, flexible, and wide-ranging survey that is supported by many levels of qualitative and quantitative analysis. With its pioneering focus on individual consumers of communications services, the design of the Centris wireless survey is both innovative and strategic. This micro-level and comprehensive survey tracks and evaluates the decisions and preferences of households and individuals, offering the best opportunity to understand the all-important demand side of a rapidly developing - and converging - communications marketplace. Most importantly, this survey offers information on the entire wireless platform, (i.e., all forms of communication made possible by wireless devices or technologies), not just the use of cell phones for voice and a limited number of other communication services. |

Centris' US Wireless Survey provides the opportunity to gain a detailed understanding of consumer preferences, at the household and individual levels, regarding next-generation voice, data, and video services (both currently and in the future). These preferences concern alternative modes of access, patterns of use, price responses and bill sizes, and service providers. The survey also enables the prediction of consumer behavior over time or as circumstances change. The survey is an essential strategic element for service providers, application and content providers, and equipment manufacturers because it takes into account the impact of various geo-demographic characteristics of consumers. Thus, it is possible to estimate and predict various metrics of consumer behavior for any consumer profile, i.e., the consumer's choices (of service use, providers, and wireless devices) and demographic characteristics. |

The Centris Digital TV Transition Report provides a detailed overview of the US Digital Transformation programs and its players. It also includes an estimate of the number of US households that will be affected by the upcoming digital conversion, their profile, their plans for handling the transition and estimates of the impacted households in the top 25 markets. The Digital TV Transition Report is designed to look at the last great windfall opportunity for multiplatform providers, as the DTV transition, and the issues that are being raised by it, are causing a large number of OTA users to seriously consider multiplatform providers, perhaps for the first time. This report will provide you with the competitive insight that you will need in for this major broadcast change. |
